One of our Goat Willows on HS2 almost exploding from the tube. The tall plastic guards have been a huge success this year, protecting newly planted trees from the heat.

I found it deeply satisfying watching a landowner at a current site processing ‘waste’ from a temporary road back into useful materials. The 3 way sieve produced piles of course aggregate, medium aggregate and soil. Top job- and typical resourcefulness of the farming community!
