One of our Goat Willows on HS2 almost exploding from the tube. The tall plastic guards have been a huge success this year, protecting newly planted trees from the heat.

Go for mow- always something a bit Thunderbirds about a beaver tail trailer. Also- an example of how we pine for lost nature in how we name things. F-A-B!

That is why we are spending the morning processing our neighbour’s patio dig out for use in our own biodiversity boosting project!

When the most successful tree in your planting area is a self seeded Ash 🙄

I found it deeply satisfying watching a landowner at a current site processing ‘waste’ from a temporary road back into useful materials. The 3 way sieve produced piles of course aggregate, medium aggregate and soil. Top job- and typical resourcefulness of the farming community!
